Hello trout fans, in this article series we will discuss fishing equipment for trout fishing.

We will list the equipment lists of these methods by referring to the two most preferred methods among Trout Fishing Equipment.

As you know, trout is hunted in different ways. We will share with you the 2 most used methods and their equipment.

We decided to prepare this content in line with the conversations and confirmations we had with the master hunters who have been fishing for trout for years. Let's move on to this equipment and methods without further ado;

1. Rotary spoon method:

Rotary spoon takes the first place in trout fishing, has 80% share in-stream catches.

This fishing method, which was first invented by the French brand Mepps in the world, is used in trout fishing all over the world.

It takes first place because it is the most used method.

Equipment for the reed method:

  • Spin or foldable straw up to 1.8 meters long
  • LRF fishing machine with minimum 8 balls
  • Rotary spoon, recommended (mepps size 3)
  • 0.30 rope fishing line
  • Crotch boots for stream hunting, Full-length overalls depending on water density in spring
  • Round fishing hat with not much plastic mixture
  • Yellow tinted glasses
  • Fish bag
  • Fishing tackle box for spare fishing rods
  • Small pliers or small knife for changing the bait
For manual game management;

  • 0.35 line - 100 meters
  • Rotary spoon, recommended (mepps size 3)
  • Fishing line made of hard wood with a size of 25cm x4cm
  • Crotch boots for stream hunting, Full-length overalls depending on water density in spring
  • Round fishing hat with not much plastic mixture
  • Yellow tinted glasses
  • Fish bag
  • Fishing tackle box for spare fishing rods
  • Small pliers or small knife for changing the bait

2. Worm method

The worm method is very effective both in streams and some parts of dams.
For this method, you must provide a red coloured worm.

You can collect the worms in constantly moist soils and in parts of soils moistened by wastewater. In order for the worms to survive, you must leave the worms in the same soil in the container you left them to hold the worms.

Equipment:

  • Jar or cream box in which you can drop worms and carry them easily in your bag
  • 10 medium worm hooks
  • 0.45 line - 20 meters
  • 3 meters long foldable straight reed
  • 10 pieces - 50 grams of lead
  • Crotch boots for stream hunting, Full-length overalls depending on water density in spring
  • Round fishing hat with not much plastic mixture
  • Yellow tinted glasses
  • Fish bag
  • Fishing tackle box for spare fishing rods
  • Small pliers or small knife for changing the bait
Arrange the fishing line so that the lead is at the bottom and the hook is 5 cm above it. You can also set the optional hook at the bottom and the lead at the top.

This method, which is used especially for red-spotted trout fishing in streams, is very efficient.
